it seems like every single time i go shopping there is one thing that i always return with: a slatkin & co. candle from bath and body works. my collection is modest, containing only six delicious candles. i have seven, but the frosted cupcake was burned until the wick was non-existent. i'd personally purchase slatkin over yankee candle anyday. well not anyday, when i see yankee candle's storm watch scent, i need to buy it. bath and body works had a deal on three wick candles, 2 for 30$. i couldn't resist.
one of the newest scents: flower shop. you know that smell that fills your nose as soon as you walk into a flower shop or green house? this candle smells exactly like that. i'm not even kidding you. the scent is dead on and smells wonderful. i feel like i'm in a flower shop waiting for my bouquet to be ready. the scent is super strong and quite lovely.
i ended up with two floral candles today. which is quite unusual since i'm not a floral person. but this lilac blossom candle was too good to pass up. think the fresh lilac bush. once again, the smell is dead on. it really does smell like lilacs. the scent doesn't seem fake. it seems beyond real. like there is a plethora of them in my house.
i'm in love with slatkin candles. now if i could just burn them without worrying about them running out. what's your favourite slatkin candle scent (or yankee candle if you prefer)?
